Swarovski and cats

In theory I do have a lot of time lately, but it's all consumed by creating stuff and not writing about it on the internets. Impatient fingers :) It's high time to brag about something!

I developed the kitty pattern myself. With each next it's turning out better and better and now I have new idea for the earrings. Basically, it's rivoli bezeling plus ears and tails. And this is how they turn out:

Swarovski rivolis are in sizes 8, 14, 12 i 8 mm, and in colours Silver Night (big kitty's body) and Black Diamond (rest). Wrapped in Toho Round beads in sizes 15 and 11, and colors: Transparent Rainbow Crystal, Silver-lined Frosted Crystal and SLF Black Diamond. All parts made of silver, plus silver necklace about 40 cm in length.


I also made a set for my friend in pinks and whites (raspberry ice cream!), with dot-earrings in place of kitties:

Rivoli in sizes 18, 14 and 8 mm, and color Fuchsia. Toho Round beads in 11 and 15, and colors Inside Color Crystal/Snow lined and Gold-lustered Raspberry. Also - silver :)

It's been ages.

But that's how it goes when one does billion things at the same time and doesn't really HAVE time for anything :P Nevertheless, I keep up with beading and have a few things to show :3 It's going to be just small pieces today, but just let me take those photos..

To begin with - Swarovski:

Rivoli Topaz Gems 8 and 12 mm, wrapped in Toho Round 11/0 i 15/0 in Silver Lined Med Topaz colour. Silver earpieces. Prototype model ;)


Next - a pair of earrings I made for my colleague from work.

 Matte mountain crystal gems and bronze-coloured metal. A bit freestyle XD

Number two is a bit Valentine's themed - red marble hearts and silver-coloured metal. Earpieces are silver-plated, in case of allergies.

New dragons and new banner

After a long, long break (I moved to a new apartment) I'm back to intensive beading. I spent last week in my bed, which resulted in new dragonlings. Here they go:

Godly Swarovski in Crystal colour:

Swarovski crystal (18 mm in diameter) was wrapped with Toho Round beads in sizes
15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, and colours Transparent Rainbow Crystal and Silver-lined Crystal. Eyes were made with Swarovski Round Crystal AB 4 mm. Clasp is made with silver.

It shines beautifully (Swarovski, duh :D), unfortunately, photos don't show it well...

Dragon no 2, hero of the new banner:

Wrapped on violet agate bead (14 mm in diameter) with Toho Round beads in sizes 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, colours Permanent Finish Galvanised Aluminium and Inside Colour Aqua/Opaque Purple lined. I also used Spike Beads in Silver/Jet colour, and glass beads for the eyes. Clasp made with silver.

It has shorter snout than rest of the dragons, so it was instantly named a Violet Gekko-Dragon.

Last but not least - red dragon that has visited this blog already, now with gold-plated clasp!
