New dragons and new banner

After a long, long break (I moved to a new apartment) I'm back to intensive beading. I spent last week in my bed, which resulted in new dragonlings. Here they go:

Godly Swarovski in Crystal colour:

Swarovski crystal (18 mm in diameter) was wrapped with Toho Round beads in sizes
15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, and colours Transparent Rainbow Crystal and Silver-lined Crystal. Eyes were made with Swarovski Round Crystal AB 4 mm. Clasp is made with silver.

It shines beautifully (Swarovski, duh :D), unfortunately, photos don't show it well...

Dragon no 2, hero of the new banner:

Wrapped on violet agate bead (14 mm in diameter) with Toho Round beads in sizes 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, colours Permanent Finish Galvanised Aluminium and Inside Colour Aqua/Opaque Purple lined. I also used Spike Beads in Silver/Jet colour, and glass beads for the eyes. Clasp made with silver.

It has shorter snout than rest of the dragons, so it was instantly named a Violet Gekko-Dragon.

Nowe smoki i nowy szablon

Po długiej, długiej przerwie (przeprowadzka) wracam do intensywnego koralikowania. Ostatni tydzień spędziłam przykuta do łóżka, co zaowocowało nowymi smoczętami. Oto one:

Boski Swarovski w kolorze Crystal:

W centrum kryształ o wielkości 18 mm, opleciony koralikami Toho Round w rozmiarach 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, w kolorach Transparent Rainbow Crystal i Silver-lined Crystal. Oczy z kryształków Swarovski Round Crystal AB 4 mm. Zawieszka ze srebra z dużą krawatką.

Przepięknie błyszczy w słońcu (wiadomo, Swarovski :D), zdjęcia, niestety, nie oddają jego uroku...

Smok nr 2, bohater nowego bannerka:

Opleciony na kulce z fioletowego agatu (14 mm średnicy) z koralików Toho Round w rozmiarach 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, w kolorach Permanent Finish Galvanised Aluminium oraz Inside Colour Aqua/Opaque Purple lined. Kolce ze Spike Beads w kolorze Silver/Jet; oczy ze szklanych kulek. Krawatka i podwieszka ze srebra.

Pyszczek ma taki krótki, że został przemianowany na Fioletowego Smoko-Gekona.

Radosna słodycz już na Etsy.

Sapphire rose and other beauties

I have one more dragon that I haven't yet shown on the blog, and which took part in  a contest on Korallo and (attention, please!) won an award for me :D Brave creature!

It's wrapped on venetian glass bead, with Toho Round 15/0, 11/0, 8/0 and 6/0 in Permanent Finish Galvanised Starlight and Silver Lined Frosted Dark Aquamarine colours. Clasp made with gold-plated silver.

It has already been bought and sent to my friend in UK, who has also ordered two more crafts... Most of all, a colour-fitting rose ring:

Rose has been made with Toho Round in the same colours as the dragon and it has been attached to peyote ring.

Last part of the order were N7-styled earrings; something a Mass Effect female fans will probably appreciate:

This time Toho Round in 11/0 size and in Opaque Jet, O White and O Cherry colours. Metal elements in silver colour.

The package is now on it's way to UK and I hope it will get there soon!

Szafirowa róża i inne cuda

Mam jeszcze jednego smoka, który na blogu się jeszcze nie pokazał, a który brał ostatnio w konkursie Korallo i (uwaga uwaga!) zdobył dla mnie wyróżnienie :D Dzielne stworzonko!

Opleciony na koraliku ze szkła weneckiego, z użyciem Toho Round 15/0, 11/0, 8/0 i 6/0 w kolorach Permanent Finish Galvanised Starlight i Silver Lined Frosted Dark Aquamarine. Podwieszka z pozłacanego srebra.

Zarezerwowany i wysłany już do mojej przyjaciółki z Wielkiej Brytanii, która poza nim zamówiła jeszcze dwa drobiazgi... Przede wszystkim pasujący kolorystycznie pierścionek z różą:

Wzór można znaleźć na biser.ru, a gdyby ktoś był ciekaw, skąd jeszcze czerpię inspiracje, to polecam moją tablicę na Pinterest z różnymi kreatywnymi pomysłami :)

Różyczka powstała z Toho Round w tych samych kolorach, co smoczysko, na peyotkowej obrączce.

Ostatnią częścią zamówienia były kolczyki w stylu N7; coś, co najbardziej docenią fanki gry "Mass Effect".

Tutaj Toho Round w rozmiarze 11/0 w kolorach Opaque Jet, O White i O Cherry. Zakończenia w kolorze srebrnym.

More dragons!

I won't lie, dragons take a lot of my time lately :) Each one comes out differently, even though I'm using the same tutorial... to be found here. Today I have three to show :)

First - baby dragon that caught my friend's attention. Really small.

It's less than 5cm long and I wrapped it on round bead, 10mm in diameter, made of crocodile jasper. Pendant clasp and ring made of sterling silver. I used:
Toho Round 11/0 and 15/0 in colours: Metallic Moss, PF Galvanised Aluminium, SL Frosted Olivine, IC Luster Black Diamond/O. Yellow lined (eyes);
and Preciosa Rocaille in colour looking like Metallic Moss. Size about 8/0.


Ice frozen dragon:

More than 7 cm in length, wrapped on white opal, 16 mm in diameter. Toho beads in sizes: 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0 and colours: Transparent Frosted Crystal, T. Crystal, SL Aquamarine, SL Frosted Aquamarine. Dagger Beads 5x8 mm, in Crystal colour. Eyes made with random glass beads. Pendant clasp and ring made of sterling silver.

Last but not least - unfinished red dragon:

Unfinished, because I have trouble with finding pendant clasp made with gold-plated silver... ;)
Toho Round seed beads in sizes: 15/0, 11/0, 8/0 and colours: PF Galvanised Starlight, SL Siam Ruby, T. Frosted Ruby. Round bead made with mountain jade, 16 mm in diameter. The dragon is about 7 cm long.

Więcej smoków!

Nie będę ukrywać, smoki ostatnio zajmują mi większość czasu :) Każdy wychodzi inaczej, mimo iż korzystam z tego samego wzoru... do znalezienia tutaj (po angielsku!). Na dzisiaj mam do zaprezentowania... trzy :)

Po pierwsze - smoczątko, które wpadło w oko mojej koleżance. Maleństwo.

Ma niecałe 5 cm długości i powstał na kulce z jaspisu kambaba o średnicy 10 mm. Zawieszka i kółko zrobione ze srebra, a użyte koraliki to:
Toho Round 11/0 i 15/0 w kolorach Metallic Moss, PF Galvanised Aluminium, SL Frosted Olivine, IC Luster Black Diamond/O. Yellow lined (oczka);
oraz Preciosa Rocaille w kolorze zbliżonym do Metallic Moss. Rozmiar około 8/0.


Lodowy smok:

Długość przeszło 7 cm, opleciony na białym opalu o średnicy 16 mm. Koraliki Toho w rozmiarach 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, w kolorach: Transparent Frosted Crystal, T. Crystal, SL Aquamarine, SL Frosted Aquamarine. Kolce to Dagger Beads 5x8 mm,  w kolorze Crystal. Oczka ze zwyklaczków. Zawieszka i kółko ze srebra.
Można go znaleźć na Etsy.

Na koniec jeszcze nieukończony smok czerwony:

Nieukończony, bo mam problem ze znalezieniem pozłacanej srebrnej krawatki w odpowiednim rozmiarze... Może ktoś może polecić sklep? ;)
Koraliki Toho Round w rozmiarach 15/0, 11/0, 8/0 w kolorach: PF Galvanised Starlight, SL Siam Ruby, T. Frosted Ruby. Kula z górskiego jadeitu o średnicy 16 mm. Sam smok ma dlugość ok. 7 cm.

Project dragon

I was planning to check out THIS TUTORIAL a while ago, but something kept getting in the way - not enough bead sizes, wrong colours, work (work all the time), but I finally managed to do it. Making the dragon took me about 4 episodes of "Person of Interest"... and the tutorial is really simple :D

Dragon babe was planned as a necklace:

...but it can also work as a figurine, since the tail is easily manipulated:

I used Toho Round seed beads in sizes 15/0, 11/0 i 8/0, in colours: PF Galvanised Aluminium, SL Olivine, SL Frosted Olivine and Inside-Color Luster Black Diamond/Opaque Yellow lined (yeah, such a long name :P). The basic stone is coloured agate, and eyes were made with random glass beads. Whole dragon is stringed on fishing wire, metal element is in silver colour.

I'm planning to do more dragons in more colours, so... :D

Red Queen

Doing photos made me crazy. Seriously - not the hard work, not the fact it was my first resin cabochon I made in freeform... Photos. But I did them. Here we go:

The set consists of necklace with cameo, bracelet with White Rabbit and pair of earrings with Swarovski rivoli.

Everything was made with Toho Round beads 11/0 i 15/0 in Opaque Jet, Silver Lined Siam Ruby and SL Light Siam Ruby colours. Metal elements in silver colour.

And Skyrim...

To close geekery inspirations for now - something inspired by the game Skyrim (or rather fan-made Skyrim mods). Especially the night-sky-changing one, that turns the sky into a colourful madness of light. Hands up, who had one installed *raises hand*.

 Quite a big pair of earrings - 3 cm in diameter and total length almost 5,5 cm. Cabochon made with mother-of-pearl, caught in the beaded net I learned to make from Weraph :3, with Toho Round beads 11/0 i 15/0 in Silver Lined Teal and SL Amethyst colours. Metal elements in silver colour.

Mass Effect fans have probably recognised the pattern - it's the same that a quarian Tali'Zorah wears on her clothing (she's one of my favourite characters, btw.)

A bit of fandom jewellery

Today something more in the subject. To begin with, a "Key to the TARDIS" bracelet from the Doctor Who fandom.

Those who know what is what, won't need much explanation. To all the others: TARDIS (or rather T.A.R.D.I.S. - Time And Relative Dimension In Space) is Dr Who's ship - not only to travel in space, but also in time - and it looks like a blue police box because... it has a glitch :D

I used Toho Round 11/0 in Opaque White and Opaque Frosted Navy colours. The charm is 12 mm long with 10mm size cabochon. All metal elements in silver colour.

And now two versions of Mass Effect themed bracelets. White-red-black colours are used as logo for an elite soldier formation N7, that the main character of the game belongs to.

Czerwona Królowa

Zdjęcia doprowadziły mnie do szału. Nie samo dzierganie, nie fakt, że pierwszy raz oplatałam kameę z żywicy, tylko właśnie foty. No to jedziemy:

Na zestaw składają się: naszyjnik z kameą, bransoletka z Białym Królikiem i para kolczyków z kryształkami Swarovskiego.
Wszystko powstało z wykorzystaniem koralików Toho Round 11/0 i 15/0 w kolorach: Opaque Jet, Silver Lined Siam Ruby i SL Light Siam Ruby. Elementy w kolorze srebrnym.
